The State of Antigua and Barbuda consists of two main islands and rocky, uninhabited Redonda. 365 beaches surround 280 square kilometers of hilly terrain, magnificent rain forest and a fertile plain. The vegetation and biodiversity, combined with the wildness of Barbuda, make of our territory a little piece of paradise. In fact, nature is the main protagonist in these islands, nourishing the soul of its warm and generous people and influencing the hearts of those who visit us for the first time and often get caught forever.
In this issue we wanted to emphasize the importance of taking care of the environment and ourselves: Antigua is the ideal place to practice both activities. In the pages of our guide you will also read about how wild life can come to our rescue and support us even at the most difficult moments, as evidenced by some of the courageous participants in the epic annual Talisker Trans-Atlantic Rowing Challenges from the Canaries to Antigua.
